Source: Colombia

Region: Salamina, Caldas

Farm: Various Smallholder Farms

Varietal: Bourbon, Caturra, Catimor, Variedad Colombia, Typica

Altitude: 1400-1600 MASL

Process: EA Decaf

Notes: Spiced Baked Apple, Brown Sugar

Special Notes: This coffee is decaffeinated by the Ethyl Acetate process. Ethyl Acetate is a natural occurring ether derived from fermenting sugar cane. This is a lot more pleasant than the current methods of decaffeination which use harsh solvents that aren’t healthy for consumption. This process is all done in Colombia meaning that this coffee is fresher than most decaf coffees that are shipped out of country, often to Canada, to be made into decaf. The EA process has fooled countless professional coffee judges and tasters and they usually can’t detect EA as being a decaf. This process is safe, tasty, keeps the coffee fresh and the beans will contain no more than 0.03% caffeine at a max. Please enjoy this thoughtfully chosen, natural decaf.
